Ladies, do you like wearing pantyhose with dress pants, slacks jeans, or do you wear anklets or nothing?
I always prefer to wear pantyhose with pants because I have long legs and they slide better with pantyhose when I sit down. I work in air conditioning, so being hot is never a problem, my house and car are air conditione also.
So many women wear bare legs or those little nylon anklets that show half the time and look terrible. I usualyget sheer to waist pantyhose in a very light weight usually 6 to 10 denier, so they are very sheer and slipery, and very comfortable. They never seem to itch or sag as I see so many women complaining about.
In my line of work, it is frowned upon for women to appear without hosiery, so I since I have to wear something on my legs and feet, it may as well be pantyhose. I was just wondering what the thoughts of some other women were on this subject.
Usually I wear dress slacks and trouser suits to work 2 or 3 days a week, and I always wear pantyhose underneath.
I find visible panty lines totally unacceptable, and I like the smooth and firm look that I get from a pair of control top pantyhose, especially with some of the thinner and lighter colored slacks and trousers I wear in the summer months.
Just as you, I also work and live in air conditioned buildings, so I’m never overly warm, and as long as I buy the correct size and better quality pantyhose I’m really quite comfortable wearing them.
To me, pantyhose are just part of my professional wardrobe, and I probably wouldn’t feel dressed without them.
