What store can I find Sheer, colored pantyhose?
I’m looking for sheer(see-through), light colors, and plus size pantyhose. even thigh highs too…i just cant find them anywhere besides on the internet where they are expensive. Can you give me an idea of where to look?
Nordstroms always seems to have a pretty good selection although they aren’t inexpensive. But you can find some DKNY and their store brand which isn’t so bad. I picked up some colored hose (light blue) there back at the beginning of summer when they were clearing out their spring items. BTW – for colors in pantyhose (not tights), you have to shop in the spring it seems – only time when I see more variety in colors. Nordstrom should have a selection of ultra sheers and plus size year round in suntan, nude, white and black.
If that isn’t close by, Target usually has a good selection. Although I think they stopped carrying the No Nonsense ultra sheer that I liked.
If there is a Loehmann’s nearby they have a decent selection. Their brand is pretty good – I use that for daily wear a bit. Get a hosiery club card from the salesperson. Lately I have noticed they don’t offer one but they will give you one if you ask.
Macy’s is so so. They have been reducing their pantyhose selection for a while now it seems. But you can try. I saw some nice hose and fishnets on clearance there not long ago.
Look up oneshanesplace on the internet. They are the outlet for Hanes and Bali products. They have physical stores in many outlet malls in the US. Check for a location near you. Great place to buy hose in bulk at reduced prices.
