Does anyone have an idea of how to ‘fix’ a waistband on pantyhose that has stretched out?
Every so often, a waistband of fairly new pantyhose will stretch out of shape, even though the legs are in perfect condition. Is there a way to fix the waistband so that they can still be worn? Please, no safety pins….I have tried that and it can get dangerous.
put a few stitches on each side, you would have to take the same amount on each side or it will sit crocked.
make sure and cut the folds you made, or this will show through what you are wearing and look bulky.

I have to attend a semi-formal event and I only have open-toe shoes dressy enough to wear. I have looked for closed-toe shoes and have found none dressy enough!
