kids pantyhose
Hey guys..do any of you recall REALLY liking pantyhose commercials as a kid before you understood why?

i.e. – before your understood what sex was.

I craved commercials for tights, but I don’t recall seeing a single instance. Before I had a pantyhose fetish, I had a tights fetish, because my female peers wore tights, not pantyhose.

In spite of this, I do have strong recollections of Sears “Legtricity”, which was a support pantyhose meant to compete with “L’eggs”. The pitch woman had an Australian accent, and sat on a cube, and crossed her wonderful legs.

I also remember the “No nonsense” girl, who was attractive, but unadorned, with a pixie haircut similar to but predating Dorothy Hamill’s hairdo. I distinctly remember hearing the “No nonsense” girl saying, “No nonsense fit at a No nonsense price” & “Comfort Stride”, No Nonsense’s first attempt to compete with “L’eggs Sheer Energy”.

I also remember the melodies/jingles for L’eggs: “Our L’eggs fit your legs, they hug you they hold you, they never let you go” & “Sheeer Energyyyyy, nothing beats a great, pair, of L’eggs”.

Since I remember them so well, they must have been PRETTY INTERESTING to me at the time, even if I wasn’t sure why. Perhaps I was a pantyhose fetishist in training. My subconscious might have said, “Someday your female peers will switch from tights to pantyhose. If you think you love tights, wait till you get a load of pantyhose. You will LOVE them”.

Sure enough, when my classmates grew up and switched to pantyhose, my pantyhose facination exheeded my tights facination. I quickly grew to love pantyhose. And I still do.

A Spring Clean for Erotic Lingerie

Spring time is the time when the major clothing fashion houses bring out the new ranges in anticipation of the latest fashion trends. They do, of course, exert some considerable influence on the trends. They have to keep things changing to make more sales, after all.

Erotic lingerie is no exception, though to some extent the designers do look to the clothing fashion houses for influence. What is worn on the high streets can translate in some way to the bedroom. Colours, styles, materials etc.

All the major erotic lingerie manufacturers are now introducing their new ranges. These include Fredericks of Hollywood, Vacari, Agent Provocateur, Hustler, Escante, Dreamgirl and many others.

The discerning lingerie buyer should always shop around.

There are several main leaders in the manufacture and sale of lingerie. Using their international sourcing capabilities, a strong based sales force and international distributors, lingerie can be found on thousands of websites. But it is also sold through bricks and mortar stores and home based party plans.

Some lingerie designers are often ahead of the lingerie competition in terms of styles, innovative designs and use of fabrics. Some are always a popular choice for the younger lingerie shopper, the late teens and 20s age group as the designs are modern and edgy and competitively priced. Other designers specialise in designs for the slightly older customer.

March, April and May of this year saw the release of many new catalogues and ranges for 2008/2009 season. It is pleasing that some of the best selling lingerie designs from the previous catalogues are continued to be made and, with the addition of many more cutting edge sexy lingerie designs, this year makes perhaps the most versatile and varied lingerie selection available.

For example a Jungle theme pervades the “Zebralicious”
lingerie which features corsets, baby dolls and lingerie sets with a distinctive and fun black and white zebra twist. The theme continues in the “Jungle Passions” catalogue selections where lingerie sleepwear has a pretty leopard embroidered lace trim.

The “Country Sweet” lingerie includes some rural lingerie designs, but influence also comes from much further afield in influences such as “Spanish Rose” and “Shanghai Sweetie”.

“Sexy but elegant” is apparent in the lingerie of styles such as “La Femme” and “The Contessa” whilst, if you are brave enough, sexy clubwear selections include “Martini Girl” and “Soul Chain”,”Diamondique” “Glamazon” and “Liquid Bricks”. A picture is worth a thousand words so a search of the Internet will soon put some flesh to the bones.

Elegance gives way to out and out sexiness with some of the lingerie designs such as the “Taboo” and “Tickle my Fancy” selections which include feather which barely cover the ladies modesty. “Smack that” and “Chains of Love” border onto ground covered by some less tasteful designers, but it is got away with a sense of fun and the fact that the designers know where to draw a line.

One particular striking example of lingerie sometimes-edgy style is a sleepwear teddie (product code D4910) in which they seem to have included a bit of this and a bit of that. It features lace,fishnet,studs and a striking combination of colours. The result is almost outrageous but the design appears to work, though it won’t be to everyone’s taste.

That’s the risk that comes with innovation, but overall the plus side is that there is something for almost every lingerie shopper in the new erotic lingerie designs.

Materials used include silk, lace, satin, lycra-net Chiffon and they are often adorned with delicate embroidery or the addition of rhinestones or a brooch or even a string of pearls.

Lingerie items include babydolls, bustiers, corsets, camisoles, gowns and dresses, and the usual hosiery items too.

Honeymoon lingerie is features in the styles of “Honeymoon Glamour”, “Veiled Bride” and “Kiss the Bride” to name but a few. The often plane white lingerie is given the modern treatment with the fun and sexy twists we associate with modern designs.

The catalogues bring the launch of the new “White Diamond” boxed lingerie lines to accompany the long running red and black diamond.

Some sexy costumes are released too although the main costumes will be released later in the year. We await with anticipation to see what surprises are in store.

With their ongoing product development, sense of fun and creativity lingerie designers are sure to increase sales among many lingerie buyers and find a few new erotic lingerie buyers as well.
