Men buying pantyhose: Ladies, what is your opinion or thoughts? Men, what kind of experiences have you had?
I work in sales, so I spend my entire day on my feet. I started wearing pantyhose after speaking to a female friend who works as a health care worker, I had mentioned how tired my legs felt at the end of my shift. She is partial to L’eggs and bought me a pair of Sheer Energy to try my next shift. I was really skeptical about them at first, but by my lunch break I was already amazed at the difference they made. By the end of the day, it felt as if I hadn’t been standing at all.
I have tried a variety of brands and styles, and usually try to buy brand-name whenever possible. I try to shop at clearance sales or discount outlets, in order to save money.
On Wednesday I had found out about a closing-out sale at a ladies wear store, the sale had started on Monday and things had been pretty well picked over. After digging through a clearance bin, I managed to find a pair of extra firm support hose that were normally $40 for only $5!
Whatever works for you, dude. If it’ll help you get thru your day, then by all means. We really don’t mind or think of it.
My uncle was allergic to mens briefs or boxers (the fabric gave him a rash) but he was uncomfy with not wearing undies. He used lace which was better (no rash) … and really, we don’t buy lace in the guys’ section, do we? I don’t think of him any less – the guy was a great horizontal structure engineer.
And don’t try to hide it. Be frank. It’s not a fetish – it’s a medical tool. Your guy friends shouldn’t react. If they do, they’re not your friends. The ladies know – is why I love them for their direct approach.
