What is the difference between pantyhose vs. tights vs. trouser socks? ?
I am trying to figure out what to wear with all of my high heeled shoes. I have peep toes, slingbacks, and also shoes with a heel – like a loafer type. What to do?
Pantyhose are sheer stockings that have go up the waist although
they make low rise pantyhose if you want wear something that shows the belly. The name pantyhose implies that there a pant build in the stockings so it is not necessary to wear underpants, but make sure the hose say that they contain a cotton crotch. These would be appropriate for peep toes, high heels and slingbacks. If you wear slingbacks the strap may slide up an down the heel, causing irritation on the stocking or your heel. Pantyhose are worn on more
dressy, evening occasions. Sometimes people wear them because
they have a little support and warmth and can be .worn under pants, jeans
etc.
Tights are knit stockings that go up to the waist. Most often you wear underwear. They can be thick and opaque , heavier knits (cable), or
lacey knits. The heavier knit would look good with pumps or heeled
loafers. Tights generally warmer than pantyhose and worn for daytime or to make look a little more casual. Some do have support, but most do not. The lacey or opened pattern can be worn at night and are quite sexy. Thick knit tights make your legs look a little heavier than they actually are.
Trouser socks are worn with trousers and long palazzo pants.
They come in diferent textures and can be very thin or thick. The heeled loafers, plain heels,or boots would work best with them. Sometimes people wear them because they want feel more cool(body
temperature) and they fill less constricting.

You don’t need to put on a suit and tie or panty hose; but shower and dress so you’re ready to go! Remember to have some fun along the way. Working from home allows you to take advantage of some of life’s little pleasures; like breakfast out on a Monday or an early day on Wednesday to see your kids little league game. And there’s nothing wrong with deciding that you simply aren’t working after 2pm on Friday anymore! These are just a few things you need to get you ready for the wave of the future.
