Do you know what stores sell leggings, pantyhose and tights?
for decent prices? The reason I’m asking is that I like to wear skirts and I don’t like to wear skirts without leggings, tights or pantyhose.
That is so cool that you like to wear skirts! I Wish more guys can have the guts and smarts like you do to wear skirts!
Anyway, stores like Jc Penny, Sears, Target and almost any department store will have leggings pantyhose and tights for good prices. People on ebay sell them for good prices, and check out smaller chain stores like rainbow, and even some pharmacies sell tights.

Okay, nowadays accepting women of heavier sizes has become a notion of increasing popularity: the thicker set body type has become an acceptable norm where no more excercise is required.
However with men, chubbier male bodies are still not an acceptable norm. For instance on Tyra, she had a bunch of plus size women get into lingerie and strut it: could chubby men with pots, man boobs and love handles walk on stage in their boxers? Probably not because the male figure doesn’t take on fat very well.
Am I right in thinking MEN are in a more unfair position when it comes to body image and weight gain because a chubby man isn’t considered a perfect figure (where no more excercise is required) as opposed to a chubby womans?
Should fat just be considered fat, should the right body image only be the one you get after healthy diet and excercise? Why is it women have an acceptable excuse for being lazy but not men?
This is interesting.
For years, women have been annoyed that society allows men to age and put on weight and still be considered sexy but not women. Sean Connery, Hugh Heffner, Harrison Ford are all older men, not necessarily in perfect shape, who have sex symbol status.
There are also examples of men on tv shows (King of Queen’s, According to Jim) who don’t have ‘perfect’ bodies but still get to star in tv shows and have attractive wives with close to “perfect” bodies. The opposite is not true.
Older or not perfectly slim (and slim doesn’t mean in good shape necessarily) women are expected to diet, workout and/or have plastic surgery so they look ‘perfect’. Fatter men, still get to work in show business.
Women have expressed annoyance that men grow “love handles” while women just “let themselves go.” A man with grey hair is ‘distinguished’ a woman with grey hair is ‘old’.
So, for me, the fact that you have the sense that men are not “allowed” to be imperfect just means that men are starting to be submitted to the same scrutiny women have been facing for years. this doesn’t mean it’s alright for men to be scrutinized, it just means I say “welcome to the club.”
I think we should just stop scrutinizing each other and accept that people come in all shapes and sizes and that everyone is beautiful in some way.
