What’s the difference, if there is any, between tights, leggings, and pantyhose?
(I’m putting together a Halloween costume.)
Tights have feet, they are usually thick and opaque and come in fashion colours, patterns and textures. Leggings are like tights, only without feet in them. They stop above the ankles. Leggings are made from many weights of stretchy fabrics and offer the most fashion options. Pantyhose are similar to tights but they are usually leg coloured, lighter weight and sheer.
I’m will soon be on my FOURTH pair of pantyhose today! I ran my first pair pulling them on this morning. Somehow getting in or out of my car on my way to work I tore my second pair. I just snagged and ran my third pair on a file drawer at work. Since I have no more back-up pairs at work, I have to run out for some at lunch. That will be pair number FOUR! Can anyone best that record??!! Grrrrrrrrr…
Sorry. No record. And stop buying cheap Dollar Store hose. Also, you don’t really “pull” them on, their not socks.
