Are lingerie fashion styles trendy now?
I’ve seen many fashion clothing that are lingerie styles like corset, bustier, or camisole.
I see young women wear tops that look like corsets or camisoles. They also wear hosiery as leggings.
To the first answerer, I’m not complaining. I’m asking these questions for my fashion research assignments. I’ve done the research, but there are some things I’m not clear about.
My job is to do research on lingerie and its trends.

The current trend seems to be modern spins on classic garments. Corsets are huge right now, as are stockings. Here’s an example of the kind of modern/classic corset I’m referencing:

As with a lot of fashion today, the idea seems to be taking bits and pieces of the past and updating them. Whereas previously styles would come in, go out, then come back in, in the information age it seems that virtually nothing is actually “going out”, just being re-adapted or modified!
