Leather straight-jackets or straight-jacket gloves are also part of the BDSM lingerie.
Below the chest, BDSM lingerie offers more items combining chains and leather. Leather and chain thongs are a favorite, with crotchless leather underwear conducive to foreplay. Of course handcuffs are often used, and considered part of the lingerie. Below that comes hosiery or stockings. Then either leather boots, both knee high and higher, or heels.
Generally speaking, BDSM lingerie incorporates toys as a part of the role so the distinction between the two goes often unseen. Be sure to avoid them if you have severe allergies so that you do not have an allergic reaction to the chain or the leather against your skin. Washing cannot simply be a gentle cycle in the wash, but hand washing for each piece as necessary.
Be cautioned not to try for the more intense features such as the leather face masks or the straight-jackets unless you and your partner have discussed safety first. It is imperative within the BDSM relationship that the lingerie is only a small part, and the trust that the other cares for you is the larger part.
