Are you supposed to wear pantyhose with prom dresses?
My mom and my friend’s mom have been having this battle with us for awhile. Are you always supposed to wear pantyhose with prom dresses or not? Even when you are wearing open toed shoes?
It really depends on what you’re wearing. With open-toed shoes, I would say it would be preferred for you not to wear them and instead get a neutral-coloured pedicure. However, both options are completely acceptable and widely used. I am not a big pantyhose fanatic, and it was much more comfortable for me to go without, but it’s purely a comfort issue and also, if wearing open-toed, many people go without.
