Bridesmaid requirements?
So I apologize for not providing a better description of the shoes my bridesmaids will be wearing. They are three inch open toed heels but we will be on a platform along the beach. Is it still wrong for me to require them to wear nude pantyhose for the day.
I also asked that they not dance barefoot during the reception. I think it is really tacky.
You are right, it is tacky not to wear hosiery at a formal affair, but you should leave it to the girls if its pantyhose or stockings. Most younger girls like myself prefer stockings or Thi-Highs and as long as they are sheer, nude and have a sheer toe and heel, no one will know but themselves.. Pantyhose are so cumbersome and hot, and seldom as sheer or dressy as stockings. Older women need them to hold themselves in, but younger women detest them, and prefer thi-high stockings.
