Can I wear control top pantyhose during pregnancy?
I am 28 weeks pregnant, and today I put on one of my favorite pairs of nylons, they were a little uncomfortable but I felt fine and left the house for work. Then as the day wears on I have begun to get worried because I realized they are control top. I can feel the baby moving a lot, but I’m nervous that the compression of the nylons might be cutting off circulation to the baby or something. I can’t find any reliable information on the internet. Are there any doctors out there who could ease my mind? If not I am going to leave work, run out to the store and buy a different pair of regular hose!
You can still wear control top pantyhose. What you need though is maternity control top pantyhose. They expand more in the front…allowing room for the baby.
