I’ve seen many fashion clothing that are lingerie styles like corset, bustier, or camisole.
I see young women wear tops that look like corsets or camisoles. They also wear hosiery as leggings.
To the first answerer, I’m not complaining. I’m asking these questions for my fashion research assignments. I’ve done the research, but there are some things I’m not clear about.

The current trend seems to be modern spins on classic garments. Corsets are huge right now, as are stockings. Here’s an example of the kind of modern/classic corset I’m referencing:
As with a lot of fashion today, the idea seems to be taking bits and pieces of the past and updating them. Whereas previously styles would come in, go out, then come back in, in the information age it seems that virtually nothing is actually “going out”, just being re-adapted or modified!

If you are a bit on the timid side, you can accessorize the garment with a robe that will allow you to reveal only what you want. Most importantly, you want to feel comfortable in any type of lingerie that you wear, so you want to make certain that you are not feeling self-conscious by wearing a garment that is overly revealing. If that’s the case, wear something less revealing the first time, then gradually ease into the more provocative and revealing styles as your comfort level increases. It won’t be long before you are truly loving it and bringing out the beast in your partner.
Babydolls are now available in a wide variety of different fabrics. Typical fabrics include satin, lace, lycra, denim, mesh, chiffon, leather, faux leather, and vinyl. The vinyl fabric is also commonly referred to as PVC, patent leather, or wet look because of its shinier appearance.
