Burlesque evening out – suitable outfit?
I am off to a burlesque evening tomorrow and was planning to wear my 50s rockabilly dress (skull and rose top with black layered skirt) with a black waspie, seamed nylons and little shrug. However have suddenly had second thoughts that maybe that’s not slinky enough, as all the burlesque outfits I have seen are kind of 40s style pencil skirt affairs. Any opinions? Anyone else been to a burlesque night that can give me any ideas?
